Principal:                                            Robert Mintz, Architect

Robert Mintz Architecture was founded in 1999 upon returning from a winter trip to Barcelona. Having worked extensively in the public sector managing the design and construction of urban revitalization projects in the City of Oakland, founding principal Robert Mintz created the practice with an emphasis on designing single and multi-family housing developments.  Building Information Modeling (BIM) is utilized for improved project development and delivery.

Robert approaches each project without preconceived ideas, endeavoring to arrive at the best design solution after a considered and thoughtful process which evolves from carefully listening to the project stake holders while striving to meet the inherent economic, programmatic, and environmental constraints.

Robert graduated with a professional degree in architecture and a bachelor degree in construction engineering from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo, and is licensed to practice architecture in the Sate of California.
